Nam has been a key part of TC&Partners since 2017 and specialized in M&A, foreign direct investment, commercial and especially real estate. Throughout his time practicing in TC&Partners, he has been considered as a leading advisor for the clients in various M&A transactions where he is deeply involved in the cases from the DD stage until the completion of the deals. In the field of real estate, Nam is highly appreciated for his deep experience and proficiency in land law matters as well as real estate business transactions. He also has been serving numerous big real estate developers in Vietnam on retaining basis with respect to real estate business activities as well as their corporate matters. Our young partner is also known as an all-rounder who not only provides the expertise in writing/ drafting legal document or deal negotiation but also has diverse experience in complex licensing works especially in those related to foreign direct investment activities and land procedures.
In addition to domestic organizations and individuals, a significant percentage of his clients are foreign legal entities diversely coming from Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia, Indonesia etc., which provide him deep insight in various working culture.
Before joining TC&Partners, Phuong Nam spent his first year of practice as an intern in Ministry of Justice and in a legal department of a foreign invested enterprise in Hanoi.
In respect to the educational path, Nam got his LLB at the School of Law, Vietnam National University with distinction degree and also completed the Master of Law at the Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom (for which, he was one of the best international candidates received the highest scholarship awarded by the school).
